Community Organizing
Manhattan Together is a power organization that strengthens the ability of individuals, families, and institutions to act on issues that concern them and their communities.
We focus on challenges that are critical to the present and future of the borough: affordable housing, public education, and immigrant rights. We research the most pressing issues in our communities by talking to everyday people, then analyze the political context and act strategically to achieve results.
We are composed of religious congregations and nonprofits. Each member institution brings a distinct network of leaders where trust and common goals are established. Together, we form a broad and diverse base of strong leaders.
